Sanctuary mix

The current house configuration uses MONO CENTER as the sanctuary mix destination.

The exact loudspeaker/output routing should be documented separately after the physical outputs and processing are verified.

Broadcast mix — Bus 7/8

The stream mix is carried on linked buses:

Bus Current role
Bus 7 Video Left
Bus 8 Video Right

These buses are intentionally separate from the sanctuary mix so the broadcast level and balance can be adjusted without changing what people hear in the room.

ATEM input reference

A recent working reference at the ATEM was approximately:

  • Mic 1 gain: −13 dB
  • Fader: 0 dB
  • Typical meter level: high green / low yellow

These values are references, not instructions to force the system to those numbers.

ATEM return — critical routing rule

The ATEM return enters the M32 through Aux 3/4, labeled:

Video L/R Return

Never create this feedback loop

Do not send the ATEM return back into Bus 7/8.

A previous harsh screech/static problem was traced to exactly that loop:

M32 Bus 7/8
    ↓
ATEM
    ↓
M32 Aux 3/4 return
    ↓
Bus 7/8 again
    ↓
ATEM again...

Keep the Video L/R Return faders at −∞ unless the return is intentionally needed, and confirm that Aux 3/4 are not being sent to Bus 7/8.
